Traffic crashes, many of which are due to distracted driving, are the number 1 cause of violence-related deaths of 1-25 year olds in the U.S.—but they shouldn’t be. The technology and knowledge exists to end this.
The United Nations recognizes road safety as a prerequisite to healthy lives and well-being. In September 2020, the UN General Assembly proclaimed the “Decade of Action for Road Safety 2021-2030”, with the ambitious target of preventing at least 50% of road traffic deaths and injuries by 2030.
Our road safety programs align with the UN’s goals. Help us reach these goals by becoming a supporter via a one-time gift or by becoming a monthly donor.
